No prizes for guessing the location of the brewery, or indeed the exact alcohol content of this brew. It is quite lively when poured from the bottle and the head sustains well in the glass. You can never have enough lacework down the sides of your glass. There's a slight bready odour which follows through into the taste. There's also quite a caramel flavour, which is not usually a strong characteristic of a pale ale. Not great then, but not terrible.
