Mikkeller - Racing Beer

As the name implies, this Mikkeller lager (brewed in Belgium) is marketed as a healthy drink. The beer is a very pale yellow with a bubbly white head. The aroma is rather fruity and slightly ascerbic. The mouthfeel is pleasantly smooth. Taste-wise, although sold as a lager, it seems as much like a saison, being quite sour as well as having some sweetness. The fruits are citrussy - lemon in particular, but also some grapefruit. There's little aftertaste. The acidity of this drink rather detracts from the aroma which promised more sweetness.
