vandeStreek - Playground IPA

An IPA hailing from Utrecht in the Netherlands, set up in 2010. The low alcohol level is as a result of the fermentation process and the beer is unfiltered - so expect haziness in the glass. The beer is a rich deep orange and has a decent white head on it. When you bring the glass to the nose, the powerful aromas immediately hit you. Mosaic, Cascade and Citra are used in great combination to provide a barrage of tropical fruits. And this translates fully into the taste, augmented by just a little spiciness. The beer is full-bodied and moderately carbonated. The aftertaste is crisp and bitter. A well-balanced beer.
