Big Drop - Paradiso Citra IPA
Paradiso is chock full of hops - Cascade, Chinook, Citra (of course!), Columbus and Simcoe (just for some variation from hops beginning with the letter C). A very pale yellow body briefly supports a modest white head. The carbonation level is just right though, not overly gassy, not flat and lifeless. As expected the aroma is a punchy tropical fruit one. And the taste is all citrus and sharp bitterness. Lemon, lime, guava, pineapple - the usual suspects in fact. Paradiso comes in at 61 calories and is gluten free (though not vegan as the recipe includes lactose). A very refreshing brew.
