Kompaan - Stunt Double IPA
Kompaan, are a Dutch craft beer company based in The Hague and brew quite a range of beers, some of which have an ABV closer to a wine. However, Stunt Double comes in at just 0.5% ABV and so gets a place on Beers Without Fears. The mix includes malted barley, wheat, rye and Mosaic hops. The 330ml bottle delivers a rich amber looking beer with a moderate white topping. The cereal ingredients are to the fore on the nose - perhaps akin to a German rye bread. Then when you drink it there's a smooth maltiness, some sweetness and a touch of pine and mango. The body is rather on the thin side and the mouthfeel somewhat watery but the finish is crisp enough.
