Omnipollo - Konx Pale Ale
The Swedish brewery Omnipollo are known to me for having collaborated with the Buxton Brewery to produce a rather legendary stout called Yellow Belly. This 0.3% ABV "Mini Pale Ale" comes in a 33cl can and is brewed in Belgium by De Proefbrouwerij. The beer is a rather cloudy yellow and has a decidedly citrussy aroma. The taste is mostly that of grapefruit but with some pineapple sweetness to take the acidic edge off. The body is rather thin, lacking in any support from a malt base and it is lightly carbonated. The finish is quite tarty. Not one I'll be running after again.
