From the Suffolk brewery comes this pale amber ale, with no more than 0.5 % ABV and in a 500 ml bottle. The listed ingredients, as well as the usual suspects of malted barley and hops, says "carbon dioxide", which I don't think I've seen before. Upon pouring into a glass any attempt at a head soon disappears, leaving a beer looking as flat as the proverbial mill pond. The nose is distinctive - very much tangerine to the fore and with a touch of floral in there too. The soft mouthfeel and moderate carbonation provide a very pleasant drinking experience; the taste is quite sweet - caramel maybe - and the malty base gives way to a crisp hoppy finish.
