Lowtide - West Coast Hop Lock
Described as a West Coast Pale, this <0.5% ABV beer from the Bath brewer comes in a 440ml can and is vegan. The recipe includes barley, oats and wheat, whilst utilising both Azacca and Citra hops. As one would expect from this style of IPA it has a bold citrussy aroma. Following through from this the taste is a full-on fruity mix of lemon, grapefruit and lime, with the sharpness slightly softened by some sweet pineapple. It's a beer that's all about the hops. The body is on the slight side, whilst the finish is bitter without being harsh. Hop Lock is a thirst quencher certainly and West Coast is currently a very popular style of IPA.
