Northern Monk / Welcome IPA
This 0.5 % ABV beer is a collaboration between the Northern Monk brewer and Welcome, a skate shop and hub in Leeds. It comes in a 440 ml can and the ingredients include Munich malt, rye, wheat, oats and maltodextrin, and the hops utilised are El Dorado, Amarillo and Zappa. There is a citrussy and flowery aroma to the beer upon dispensing and the slight head soon disappears. Tastewise it has a full-on fruit profile - suggesting grapefruit, pear, pineapple and apricot. Overall, this makes for an extremely sweet beverage. The mouthfeel is soft but a little gassy whilst the finish is decidedly sticky.
