Mikkeller - Weird Weather

Mikkeller is a Danish company but Weird Weather is brewed in Belgium by De Proefbrouwerij, a rental brewery who create beers for third party brewers - such as Mikkeller. Mikkeller is a brewery that likes to experiment and Weird Weather is a good example of that. Overall, it seems like a cross between a wheat beer and an IPA. It's definitely pale though. And hazy. When poured it creates a big white foaming head which stays down the glass. The aroma is mostly a subtle combination of lemon and pine. The taste is full on and very refreshing: soft and sweet and yet with a bitter bite in the aftertaste.
