Guinness - 0.0 Stout

This dealcoholised (by filtration) version of the famous stout is brewed in Dublin and comes complete with a widget in the 440ml can to provide the same smooth flavour and thick, creamy head which stays put all the way down the glass. There is a powerful aroma of roasted malt as you lift the glass to sup. The mouthfeel is smooth, soft and creamy and has only moderate carbonation. Tastewise it is sweet and malty, like a slice of buttered malted loaf. There's no great hop component, but the finish is very refreshing. The sweet aftertaste (the ingredients include fructose) may be just a tad too sweet for some, but overall it makes for a very moreish Irish stout.
