Bristol Beer Factory - Clear Head IPA
Five percent of the proceeds from the sale of Clear Head goes to the Factory collaborator, the charity Talk Club - a mental health talking club for men. This IPA is the Bristol brewers first foray into AF beers and true to its name it is perfectly clear in appearance. The head soon disappears. There is a strongly hoppy nose with citrus fruits to the fore. Tastewise the ale has a pleasant combination of tropical fruits (particularly mango) from the Citra and Mosaic hops and a subtle butterscotch sweetness presumably derived from the lactose. The body is quite thin whilst the finish is sharp and crisp. This IPA will certainly quench your thirst if you're talking and at 0.5% ABV, you'll keep a clear head too.
