Lowtide / Electric Bear - A Pale of Two Cities
Lowtide and Electric Bear are both based in Bath so it seems an obvious idea for the Somerset breweries to produce a collaboration beer, and this hazy pale is it. Served up in a 440ml can, it is 0.5 % ABV and is suitable for vegans. The billowing white top soon subsides and on the nose it is very fresh and fruity. The body is rather light and the carbonation a little more than I would ideally like but it isn't excessive. The hoppy taste is a combination of tangerine, pineapple and lemon sherbet with a bitter citrus finish. Refreshing and easy to drink.
