Sambrook's Brewery - Stand Easy New England IPA
London-based Sambrook's Brewery offer up this 0.5 % ABV New England IPA in a 330 ml can and the first thing to note is the beer isn't hazy. Isn't that a defining characteristic of a NEIPA? Apparently not. Ingredients include malted barley, oats and wheat, together with Azacca, Waiiti and Northern Brewer hops. Through the thick white head one detects pine and tropical fruits which then translate into a pleasing and subtle blend of fruity flavours on the tongue. There is pineapple, mango, lime and tangerine to be found and the mouthfeel is decidedly smooth and creamy. The softness ends with a crisp bite, but with only a modest bitterness.
