Lowlander - 0.3 % IPA
Lowlander Beer Co is (naturally!) based in the Netherlands, specifically Amsterdam and their strapline is "Brewed with Botanicals." This particular brew utilises mango, cardamom and orange peel in the recipe. It comes in a 330 ml can and is not GF. And as one would expect, there is a big hit of mango on the nostrils, with a touch of spice too. Tastewise, it gives you exactly what it says on the tin: mango and citrus. The edge is decidely lemony and there is no real maltiness to be found. The mouthfeel is beautifully soft and creamy with a sweet tropical finish to a very refreshing IPA. It always amuses me to see the (presumably legal requirement) admonition to "Drink responsibly" on a low/no beer - what are the options to drink it irresponsibly?!
