Van Moll - Wanderlust

This award-winning IPA comes from Eindhoven in the Netherlands and the ingredients include pale, Munich and biscuit malts, as well as oat flakes, together with Citra and Simcoe hops. The hazy body supports a thick white head and the pungent aroma is mainly of tropical fruits. On the palate is a combination of citrus, mango and passion fruit, albeit rather heavy on the lemon and grapefruit. The mouthfeel is slightly thin and fizzy, whilst the finish is quite sweet but hoppy. Wanderlust is an eminently drinkable beer, but is pitched in a very crowded field of fruity IPAs. It is 0.3 % ABV and is offered in a 33 cl bottle.
