Tempest - Sleight of Hand Pale Ale
Tempest is a Scottish brewing company and this is their low (0.5%) alcohol pale ale. The beer is suitable for vegans, containing Golden Promise malt, wheat (so not gluten free), dextrin and two varieties of hop: Citra and Mosaic. Out of the can it pours an extremely pale yellow. The fizzy white head soon dissipates, leaving the beer looking quite flat. There is very little aroma except a hint of lemon perhaps. On the palate the ale is sour and herby. The overall taste seems synthetic in some way, not at all "fresh." The mouth feel is very thin and there is not much of an aftertaste.
