Tiny Rebel - Clwb Tropica Non-Alc
This is the 0.5% version of the award-winning Welsh brewery's 5.5% IPA - their first AF beer. It's very effervescent out of the can; a slight haze and lots of white head that soon dies back. As promised by the name, it has a very powerful tropical fruits aroma: passion fruit, pineapple and mango are to the fore. The taste is similarly sweet and fruity with just a hint of caramel. The mouthfeel is thin and over-carbonated. As the fruit flavours subside one is left with the aftertaste of simply sweetness - as if from sucking a boiled sweet. A pleasant enough drink, but the aroma suggested more than was delivered.
