Nix is a pale beer using four malts and four post-boil hops - Lemon Drop, Mandarina Bavaria, Chinook and Saphir. I do like an informative label. Being German, Petra Wetzel is keen on the German beer purity law - which means it's suitable for vegans. The firm white head hangs about in the glass and the smell is distinctly of pine and tangerine. These notes follow through to the taste, together with malt and lemon. A litle spicy too. The finish is long and fruity, so a very full range of flavours are indeed crammed into the bottle.
