Jopen - Non IPA
Jopen is a brewery based in Haarlem, in the Netherlands. It is a cloudy beer which is lively out of the bottle and creates a thick billowing head of foam. On the nose, it is fair bursting with tropical fruits and on tasting this translates into a soft sweetness with citrussy tones. The mouthfeel is a little on the thin side, whilst the finish is dry and bitter. The overall impression is a good run of the mill pale ale but not one to thrill the taste buds.
