Big Drop - Fladerlatt Elderflower IPA
This 0.5 % ABV beer is a collaboration with Swedish brewer Hop Notch and arrives in a 440 ml can. It contains lactose so is not vegan, but is gluten free. The recipe also includes use of Mozart, an experimental British hop. The head soon subsides whilst there is a distinctive floral aroma. This follows through to the taste, which is a well balanced combination of elderflower, lime and grapefruit. The mouthfeel is zingy and light, and there is a crisp finish. It comes across as a combination of a pale ale with a dry white wine. Fladerlatt certainly hits all the right notes.
